FAQs About Our Walk-In Clinic

We’re able to take care of 99% of orthopaedic injuries –– providing walk-in care for concussion-related issues, dislocations, fractures, cuts and sprains as well as sports injuries and work-related injuries with prior authorization.

No appointment is needed. Just come on by, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon.

If you have a chronic injury or long-term bone, joint or muscle condition, call to schedule an appointment with a doctor at Midwest Orthopaedic Center.

While we accept most standard plans, it’s always worthwhile to check with your insurance company and confirm your coverage.

Our board-certified doctors and medical team specialize in examining and treating orthopaedic injuries. You’ll be seen by experienced doctors trained in diagnosing and treating orthopaedic injuries like yours. And if needed, one of our board-certified orthopaedic surgeons is always on-call. Rest easy knowing that if you come in with a shoulder injury, one of our shoulder specialists will see you. If you visit with a foot, knee, back or other bone, joint or muscle problem, we have experts who cover those issues too. Should a patient come to Midwest Ortho First with a more serious concern, we always have one of our orthopaedic surgeons on-call.

With short wait times and care tailored to your strains, sprains and breaks, a trip to Midwest Ortho First can save you time and money. At Midwest Ortho First, patients usually only pay a regular office visit copay instead of the larger copay typically reserved for ER or urgent care.

However, there are times when the emergency room or general urgent care is more appropriate. Head to the ER if you have a:

    • Severe fracture or a broken bone with an open wound
    • Deep lacerations or cuts
    • Burns

Also, visit a general urgent care for:

    • Minor eye injuries
