Picture of Adam Colen, D.O.

As a Peoria native, Dr. Adam Colen understands the community he treats. Following graduation from Bradley University, Dr. Colen went to Midwestern University for med school, then he completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic and his fellowship in sports medicine at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. Afterward, he returned to his hometown, bringing his expertise in interventional pain management and fracture care to Midwest Orthopaedic Center, your home for orthopaedics.

With a focus on the athletic injuries and conditions of active individuals, Dr. Colen prioritizes care that gives you a chance to return to play. He also offers image-guided interventions, like epidural steroid injections into the lumbar and thoracic regions of the spine to allow for improved mobility and pain relief. Through regenerative medicine and interventional pain management, Dr. Colen’s treatments are designed to get you back into fighting shape on a timeline that best fits your schedule.

Prior to joining Midwest Orthopaedic Center, Dr. Colen was co-team physician at Thomas More College and Randall K. Cooper High School in Kentucky. It’s this experience that’s conditioned him to keep his eyes trained on the best possible recovery options, while you keep your eyes on the goal.
