Picture of Matthew Jones, D.O.

Dr. Matthew Jones specializes in helping patients recover from injuries and return to the activities they love. As a non-operative sports medicine physician, he focuses on treating orthopaedic conditions without surgery, providing care through Midwest Orthopaedic Center and the Midwest Ortho First Walk-In Clinic.

Dr. Jones’s interest in sports medicine began with his own experience as a patient. After suffering a knee injury while playing basketball in high school, he received treatment from a sports medicine physician who helped him return to the court. That experience inspired him to pursue a career helping others regain their ability to participate in the activities that matter to them.

As someone who enjoys staying active, Dr. Jones understands how frustrating it can be when an injury interrupts a favorite sport or exercise routine. Helping patients get back to those pursuits is central to his work and reflects the same opportunity that first drew him to medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys going to the gym, playing basketball and soccer, and lifting weights.

My goal is to help people get back to the activities they love. A sports medicine physician helped me do that after my own injury, and that experience inspired me to do the same for others.
