Regarding Daniel S. Mulconrey, MD – Spine specialist :: Midwest Orthopaedic Center
By Candie: Bartonville, Illinois

I will be forever grateful to Dr. Mulconrey for taking the time to diagnose and treat my spine condition. My surgery turned out great! He visited me at the hospital and continued to patiently answer all questions and concerns during all of my follow-up visits, even 1 year later. He is so genuinely happy to see that you are doing well. I can't thank him enough for believing in me:) I feel that I have my life back again. Thank you so much!!!
Regarding Daniel S. Mulconrey, MD – Spine specialist :: Midwest Orthopaedic Center
By Katie: Morton, Illinois
“Ever since the age of 30, scoliosis has caused me severe lower back pain. Due to the degree of curvature of my spine and the intricacy of the procedure, I had to undergo two separate surgeries 8-10 hours each with one day between. I was astounded at 6 weeks post-op that much of my lower back pain and all numbness have been relieved. Dr. Mulconrey stated it would take approximately 2 years for my spine to heal. It has been 3 months since my surgery and I cannot believe how good I feel. My family as well as I feel that Dr. Mulconrey has given me a new lease on life; he was an answer to our prayers!”
Regarding Dustin Durr – Occupational Therapist :: Midwest Orthopaedic Center
By Debbie: Tremont, Illinois

"Dustin was able to get my fingers to move in ways I thought would never be possible again. He was as committed to my outcome as I was. He had pictures for me as well, so I could get a better understanding of the nature of my injury and healing. Dustin was extremely patient as he explained several times, what it was we were doing and why we were doing it. In my opinion, Dustin is worth his weight in gold.”

Regarding Thomas Mulvey, MD – Specialist in total joint replacement
By Ken: Pekin, Illinois

“My first encounter with Dr. Mulvey two years ago was very positive. From the pre-surgery visit at the hospital to the post-surgery visit in the recovery room, Dr. Mulvey was thorough, sensitive, compassionate, and extremely competent. I had my right knee replaced in March 2007 while living in Arizona, the comparison of overall procedure and ‘success’ between the two… Dr. Mulvey rates a strong 10. Your office facilities are also outstanding and comprehensive”
About Midwest Orthopaedic Center’s Open MRI
By John: Metamora, Illinois
I received an MRI with the new system at Midwest Orthopaedic Center in Peoria, Illinois. The assistant explained the procedure to me in the fullest explanation. I did not have any apprehension either before or during the procedure. The unit was very open and I did not feel so enclosed as I had in previous MRI tests. Time seemed to just fly by and was completed in a short time. I was well satisfied with the complete test.

To Michael Merkley, MD and Sam Betts regarding Jelani Thronton – Occupational Therapist :: Midwest Orthopaedic Center
By Debbie: Peoria, Illinois
Excerpt from a letter
“I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the work Jelani is doing for and with me. He seems to really know his business and I am learning a lot. As an RN, I thought I was taught pretty well about ROM’s in training, but I am learning from Jelani in his work with me how little I do know. He is a real gentleman as well. He has helped in explaining the exercises to me and in how they work. He has taken the time to listen and then calm me down and explain things to me.”
