Occupational Therapy

Midwest Orthopaedic Center has four Occupational Therapists on staff. Occupational Therapy primarily deals with hand, wrist, fingers and some shoulder problems. This type of therapy regularly uses complicated splints made of foam and other materials to support the injured area. Whirlpool and heating tubs warm the area receiving therapy to increase the success of the therapy.

Additionally, we offer Aquatic Therapy that can often be an excellent addition or temporary substitute for land-based therapy.
