Athletic Trainers

Midwest Orthopaedic Center has three Athletic Trainers and an Exercise Specialist on staff to help athletes train. Training can occur at school through the athletic program or in our facility.

Our staff utilize a variety of training programs to keep athletes in top condition. Foremost among them is Sportsmetrics. Sportmetrics was developed in a Cinncinati research center to decrease knee injury among athletes and improve jump height. This program works especially well for women, who are 5x more likely to have knee injuries. This program contains a series of jumps and exercise administered throughout a six week program.

Getting a trainer

If you’d like to have one-on-one training, you need our Elite Athlete program. This program offers intense sports-specific training to get your game to the next level.

Schools should contact our Rehabilitation Department for more information about this affordable way to keep your athletes off the bench. For a minimal fee, you can have an athletic trainer at home sporting events and/or available for consultations weekly through your athletic trainer.
