Thomas J. Mulvey, M.D.
Total Joint Reconstruction

Dr. Mulvey is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in joint replacement surgery. A graduate from Creighton University School of Medicine, Omaha, NE (1993), he completed his residency at Northwestern University Medical School (Chicago, IL) in 1998. In addition, he completed a fellowship in joint replacement surgery at Harvard Medical School’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Mulvey is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Surgery at the University of Illinois’ College of Medicine, located in Peoria, Illinois.

Dr. Mulvey is on-staff at all three Peoria-area hospitals and is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

His specific interests include total knee and hip replacement surgery. He has significant experience with primary as well as complex revision surgery.

Born in Hinsdale, Illinois, Dr. Mulvey earned his undergraduate degree at Creighton University School of Pharmacy in 1989. He currently resides in Dunlap, Illinois with his wife and three children.
