Daniel S. Mulconrey, M.D.
Surgery of the Spine

Dr. Mulconrey is a board-eligible orthopaedic surgeon with specialization in spinal surgery.  A graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine (2001), he completed orthopaedic residency at the University of Nebraska / Creighton University Foundation.  For specialty education, he completed the Washington University Orthopaedic Spine Fellowship.

Dr. Mulconrey has special interest and obtained advanced training in complex cervical spine surgery and reconstruction of adult and pediatric spinal deformity. 

As a researcher, Dr. Mulconrey has participated in numerous presentations and has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.  He remains active in this arena, currently contributing to more than a dozen on-going research efforts.

Dr. Mulconrey is on staff at all three Peoria-area hospitals and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society, American Medical Association, and a candidate member of the Scoliosis Research Society.

Dr. Mulconrey earned his undergraduate degree from Augustana College (Rock Island, IL), graduating summa cum laude.  He currently resides in Peoria, IL with his wife and children.
